Joe (III) (Joseph Mulligan the Third in Mulligan ancestry out of County Cavan Ireland. His grave is in the South Canwood Cemetery, Saskatchewan). Joe farmed around home as a boy. He (became) a rambler and followed railroads building tressels for years - right out to the West Coast and into the States. In 1899 - 90 he went to the Yukon during the Gold Rush. He was in Skagway for good period of time.

Rose Ann stayed at home and helped with work of keeping up and improving the place and later kept up the place with (her brother) Arthur. When Arthur brought his new bride back to the home place, Rose Ann left for the Calumet Islands where she met a man named Wiley Stewart, a farmer. Wiley and Rose are now gone. Descendants live in the area.
